Very special street lighting
DE NOOD was instructed by the municipality of Zandvoort to design a lantern that emphasised the allure of Zandvoort as a seaside resort - a little bit of city marketing.
DE NOOD designed and manufactured very special street lighting. Just as with all DE NOOD lighting, this lighting not only gives the street an attractive look in the evening, but is also a unique decoration in the daytime. The triangular stainless steel pole carries a shell-shaped copper fitting. This armature was made by DE NOOD's skilled sheet copper worker. What makes this lantern special too, is that the pole slopes backwards and tapers upwards, suggesting the influences of the sea and wind.
